WMT&R's Fracture Toughness
and Fatigue labs are geared toward increased volumes as needs arise.
Tests are conducted under a wide range of conditions including temperature's
ranging from liquid helium to 648°C.
We have the capability to
conduct fatigue testing on a range of materials with machine
capabilities encompassing forces from as little as 50N to a maximum of 1MN.
Crack growth measurement utilizes a
Crack Tip Opening Displacement (CTOD) method.
Fatigue crack growth
testing to ASTM E647 and Fracture Toughness to ASTM E399 and ASTM
E1820 are conducted using a range of crack growth rate measurement methods.
